Please help phone fell and now sim is not detected...how much would it cause to fix it..

...and what could be ...? the problem?the sim slot looks a little loose i tried everything ...even pressing the battery and trying to make sure the phone reads the sim but it doesnt work..took it to a phone repair shop he said he doesnt know whats wrong with it but minumum charge to look at it is 25 pounds...id rather just buy a new phone but still i want this one to work (nokia 6300)
