Hi, i got my 2nd siemens phone(sx1 1st). and i got this problem.
i just downloaded the S45 Siemens Data Exchange Software at http://communications.siemens.com/cds/frontdoor/0,2241,hq_en_0_21219_rArNrNrNrN_prodId%3A15780,00.html#PC Software and Drivers
My S45 version was 04. When i installed the serial cable to my PC, it didn't connect.
it says:
"Service not supported. Possible causes:
1. There is no mobile connected to the COM port selected. (the cable was plugged to my phone and connected to the serial port to my PC)
2. This software only works with Siemens moble telephone with memory(multimediacard, FlexMemory)."
I tried plugging the cable to the other serial ports, restarting my PC (win XP), my S45 restarted too, but still same error comes out.
any help?
