Now before you tell me to take him to a vet... I DONT live in the US and the place where I live has no avian vets. We have vets for dogs and cats but NO AVIAN VETS! I took him to the dog/cat vet but they told me they couldn't help me.
So here goes... he was fine yesterday.. happily playing about and suddenly he starts shaking violently and throwing up. He threw up thrice... first just seeds, then seeds and some liquid stuff, and then plain translucent white liquid. He sat fluffed up in his cage for some time. I put on the infra red heater so he could stay warm. His poop was runny. This happened in the afternoon.
Then in the evening he was fine... he ate his seeds and drank some fresh water and was his normal self. He was not fluffed up. I let the heater stay on throughout the night.
In the morning i checked him.. he was fine, happy and chirping. His poop was normal and he was eating his seeds.
Now again he is a little fluffed up and is sleeping. I checked his poop- it is slightly runny. But he is waking up in between.. chirping... eating his seeds... walking about a little... flying over to me to preen me and then going back to sleep.
I read up a bit online and they said that it might be SOUR CROP or some sort of food poisoning and that Apple Cider vinegar helps. Well, i went to all the grocery/medical stores i could... NO APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!!
Please help me... is there something.. ANYTHING i could do for my baby??? I LOVE HIM and i dont want anything to happen to him! I know the place where stay SUCKS! But please HELP!!!
