I woke up two days ago with horrible pain really low in the center of my back. While showering, I felt a lump that was hard and really painful to the touch. OVer the next day, it became worse to the point that it hurts to stand/sit/lie down/walk or do anything. This is the third time I have this in the same exact place, but it has only been "uncomfortable" before, but now it is excruciatingly painful. I cannot recall having done anything to cause it, I just suddenly woke up with it. Does anyone have any idea what this could be and how to make it go away?

Hi Lisa,
Welcome to the boarRAB!

I have no idea what is going on but didn't want to leave you hanging with no replies.

I would see a doctor for any kind of lump. If the pain is from it bumping up against a nerve you could potentially have even more problems.

Let us know how it goes!

Blessings,
Momz

Well...

I took your advice and saw a doctor and it turned out to be some type of cyst. I had to have it removed and drained and I have to go back every few days to have the stuffing replaced. It's pretty uncomfortable, but anything is better than the pain I was in. Thanks for your concern !!;)
