Explain, in complete sentences, how you would use the two methods (distribution and box method) to find the product of (x – 2)(x – 3). Please include your steps for each method and the resulting product. Which method do you prefer and why?
If you aren't going to answer truthfully then don't answer this at all.
 
(x-2)(x-3)
multiply the 1st term of box1 with first term of box 2, then 1st of box 1 with 2nd of box 2, then 2nd of box1 with 1st of box 2 and so on...
U will get
x2-3x-2x+6
x2-5x+6
x2 denotes x square
 
Distribution Method. FOIL Method :)

(x-2)(x-3)
x²-3x-2x+6. Then you add like terms.
x²-5x+6. Is the Answer

I prefer distribution method because, It was the first method that was taught to me.
 
At first ( x-2)(x-3) you multiply first variable (*) that have stars I mean x by each factor of second

parentheses one time by x and second time by -3. 1.X -3x
after that you multiply second factor(I mean 2) by parentheses. 2.-2X+6

I prefer this way so I don't explain other way. 2
result is X^2 -3x-2x+6= X-5x+6..
