am using Ubuntu. I installed LAMP. I am using Quanta editor and I am trying to save my first hellp world.php file in the var/www directory but I have NO permission to save it there. What do I do?/ I tried to chmod var/www without any luck. PLEASE HELP. I don't want to go back to Windows again. I googled the issue without any success. Thanks guys.
