Please help me start writing a poem?

I need to write a poem about where I'll be 10 years from now. I'm not good at poetry so please help me start this poem.
I am a straight-A student who wants to go on to become an architect. That's about all you need to know. Thanks very much!
 
poetry,
like architecture,
is the art
of giving form to nothingness;
I claim
to be of erudite origin, but
need your vision.
... I hope there will be
others around to help me for the coming decade ...
 
hardened, in concrete ideas
I had them
once
spires and porticoes
would shine on me
magnificent they would say
a promise to a legend to a remembrance
alas, one bolt not enough
triggers and dominoes pulled away
my structure was weak
as my future will allow
 
Think of all the different types of buildings there are, house church office, trailer, straw hut, and then for each one thing of a) the unique features and /or b) the styles...don't research, do it from memory, and use your imagination. Then mix it up with what you do there and how the features and styles make that building work in its context. And, oh, if you favor a style or type of building incorporate the meaning it has for you...good luck, _+)
 
I create visions

I build the bridge in my mind and cross it ahead of the crowd

My life is all planned out in my head

My dreams will become a reality as I am an architect

I design my own future and succeed :)
