I've been arguing with my boyfriend (not that we are worried) about how AIDS can be spread from person to person. I will not lead you to any side, but please, could you answer these questions:
1. Can AIDS be spread by drinking from the same glass as someone who has it?
2. Can you tell me different ways that AIDS can be spread from person to person?

Like I said, it's just a debate and we are not worried about it. I just want some facts about it.

If you can, could you possibly give a website that agrees with what you're saying, etc?

Thank You & Happy New Year

haha only a 14 year old, but we just finished health before finals. had like 10 speakers. okay. NO it cant be passed through saliva.(so that means not through drinking someone elses drink or eating their food)
it cant be passed on by breathin their breath, cant be passed my touch.
2. it CAN be passed on through vaginal fluids, breast milk, semen, and the infected persons blood entering your bloodstream.

EDIT:if like any of the fluids above enter like an ear or an eye or nose, etc, you can get AIDS

The answer to your first question is no. HIV/AIDS can be transmitted through vaginal fluids, semen, blood and breast milk.

Here's the truth: AIDS is spread only through blood, not through "normal" heterosexual intercourse.

No you can't get it from the glass. You get it from Sex, Sharing needles, blood transfusion and mother to infant. I doesn't survive outside the body. Here is a sight I found.

Heterosexual intercourse CAN spread AIDS...don't really know what that other guy was talking about.
