I've been reading a lot over the past few weeks, and MAN am I confused now! I'm looking for a phone, and after all the reviews and posts I've read, I know even less about what I need! ;-)

Here is what I need in a phone:

-stability
-MUST be able to sync w/ my calendar, contacts, etc reliably
-good phone, easy to use; greatly prefer voice dial, needs bluetooth
-access to my calendar/appointments AND contacts
-internet access (to check our shared online calendar for work)
-email access (I do not have an enterprise server, and work will not sport for one.) I just need the ability to check my email when I need it, I don't necessarily need real time (push).
-I would really like the option to use the phone for internet access for my laptop if possible.

Most 3rd party apps are not important; I'm not going to play games on it, etc.

The only attachments in email I'll ever need to deal with are PDF, excel spreadsheets, and word (and I guess photos as well).

My only choices for a provider are Verizon and Cingular.

In any case, I've looked at many different phones and their reviews and came to some conclusions. These seem to be the 'best.'

-Nokia 9300; hard to carry (no holsters available), no vibrate, no voice dial, and sync problems

-Cingular 8125; not a great phone, hard to dial without the stylus, questionable build quality, not very stable, sync problems (from reviews on phonescoop).

-Treo 650; terrible stability, massive problems with reboots, no voice dial

-Blackberry 8700; doesn't work well without enterprise server for email, and won't allow attachments.

SO; after 2 weeks of research, it appears there is NO phone for me.

Anyone have any pushes they can give me in the right direction? I could really use a bit of help...

Phonescoop is a gay *** site,

And for a review.....

Interesting; $400, so it's a bit expensive; the review is ok, but not overwhelmingly positive. I suppose that is the common trait here though...

Anyone else have feedback?
