i am soing an experiment on the effects of egg after being placed in vinegar AND THEN corn syrup... is my hypothesis right?
The acetic acid (vinegar) will cause the egg shell to be completely dissolved, exposing the cell membrane, and so, if the egg is then placed in syrup, the egg will shrink or deflate due to process of osmosis.
