Hi, I just wrote a poem, and I could use some criticism. This is what I have so far:
To write a poem, you don’t need money
Or a genius IQ, or anything of the sort. It’s actually
Not that hard at all. You just need
A pen, a paper, and a subject. Apparently,
You can write a poem on anything. So
This should be easy, because anything is a lot of things.
You take one or a couple things out of that
Lot of things, and you write. You let
Your pen dance across the paper. After a while,
You have some words. I think this is how it goes, to
Write a poem. With just a pen, a paper and something to say,
This should be easy, because apparently,
You can write a poem on anything.
So, is it any good? Please be supportive and not leave any hate comments. I am only a 7th grader.
Also, I'm trying to aim for 20 lines, so any ideas on what to add?
The refrain is, if you can't tell, "apparently, you can write...", and I need to keep that in there.
