Graphic (possibly French) horror film
There's a man who's a singer or actor and he leaves a town but his car breaks down so he's taken in by an inn keeper who (as the film continues) becomes increasingly deluded that the singer is his dead wife. He forces him to stay at the inn and puts him in a dress and puts a wig on him. And there's the weirdest scene I've ever seen in my life where this man plays the piano and all these freaks start dancing around it. In the end the singer manages to escape - - I think the inn keeper drowns in quicksand. The film is subtitled. Basically the entire town where he ends up is filled with freaks. Not a good description I'm afraid.
The film is an 18 and the cover of the DVD is red with a silhouette of a man walking through a forest sideways.
Has anyone ever watched something like this or know what it might be called?
Thanks
