PLEASE HELP!! I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CAR AUDIO!?

I recently chose to purchase a pre-owned audio system for my 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I have two options, both from friends of mine. Option #1...2x12" Sony Xplode's and an 800 watt Kenwood amp (cost=$140) OR, option #2...2x12" Stillwater's and an 800 watt Kicker amp (cost=$100). Everything is in the boxes and ready for installation. The cost is irrelavant, meaning that the $40 difference is not a factor in my decision. I just want the better setup between these two options. I can tell you that I am leaning more towards the Kicker setup, but again I know minimal about car audio. Please HELP...and if you have any knowledge of car audio I am interested in your opionion. Thanks to all!
 
Kicker is a much better amp than sony. Never heard of the stillwaters but there probaly better than the 12 inch explodes.They are garbage walmart speakers.
