The chains derailed while I was practicing shifting the gears. I have the SRM MRX Twist shifter, 24 speed.
I was really careful to shift while I was pedaling slowly and not to over stretch the chains. Any ideas as to what I could have done wrong?
Is there a way I can fix it myself? I can't wait until the shop opens up tomorrow.

Can I shift the right one all the way up to 8 when the left side is on two? That's when I it happened.
