please help! how did the environment effect Ancient Egypt?

im writing a 3 page paper & i need some information about the environment in Ancient Egypt.
i need to know exactly how the environment had an effect on Ancient Egypt.

Well, ancient Egypt was not the desert it is today. In fact during the time of Pharohs and Pyramid building it was vastly different.
Great rivers ran through and the land was filled with tropical forests. These made the area a highly desired trading spot as there was agriculture aplenty.

the nile river was a huge influence by giving them fertile land, and protection. the saharah desert ibfluenced them also for protection.
