A few months ago, I signed up with IPayment so I would have a way to process credit card transactions for my small, home business. I never used their serices and cancelled our contract on Jan. 4, 2010.

Yesterday, Feb. 18, 2010, I noticed they had taken $350 out of my checking account. The note attached to the withdrawl said Termination Fee. My contract has a $0 early termination fee. This is noted in 2 separate places on our contract. I contacted I Payment and they said they made a mistake and they should not have taken the money. They promised to return my money to my checking acount within the next 30 days & that was the best they could promise. The bank said there was nothing they can do.

In the meantime, I have no money in my checking account. I cannot pay my bills; and, bills that I have scheduled to pay are bouncing. I do not have enough credit to set up overdraft on my account. I certainly cannot afford a bunch of late penaties, but I don't know of anything I can do. I barely make enough money to pay my mortgage. This is a nightmare and I don't know what to do. I cannot afford to wait 30 days. I have been working very hard to get my financies under control and I don't seem to have any control over what is happening to me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
