please help 6700 mms problem

im flashing the phone and its already connected to cricket service but when i try and send an mms message ill click on messages>new and it dont do anything like it wont let me. it just shows im pressing on the button but dont go anywhere from there. could i be forgetting some steps? thanks for any help.
 
Yup. Just put Stock right on top of No Junk. I had to redo steps 3 and 5 from the tut. Since I hadn't installed Opera (step 6) before MMS testing I don't know if I had to reset the modem settings. I put them in as they weren't there previously, since I did a reset back to VZW default. Then I reinstalled all my programs. You shouldn't have to reinstall programs though.

I also got wap to work like I want it to using http://www.google.com/gwt/n .
 
i think it could be the arcsoft mms composer i dont think its on the phone, i went into the folder and theres nothing in there. where would i donwload it from?
 
ok i looked in the backup rom folder of the 6700 that i backed up and i saw signed mms3.0.6.22 Apache_VZW_26Sep05 would that be the mms composer should i put that back on the phone?
 
MWHAHAHA! I Got my MMS to FINALLY WORK!!! It was Kirvins no Junk that was being retarted!! I installed AKU 3.3 with Bad's settings and My MMS Composser came up and let me send a message and recieve one!! People Just use AKU 3.3!! :D
 
ok i did all that but my mms still isnt working. i setup opera i have under connections under my isp the connection line with #777 and the [email protected] and password cricket under the mms settings i have everything the way it says and connect via i have my isp what am i doing wrong?
 
do u install the 3.3 rom the same way as the others? with the power+record button and reset? it doesnt say to do that in the read me with 3.3
 
so which one is it custom 3.3 or stock 3.5? and thanks for the link vaporE. well we figured it out. does this mean badutahboy should edit his tutorial?
 
I have this same problem. Installed Kirvin's No Junk and I also have nothing of note in the ArcSoft MMS folder except CeSetup.dll which doesn't seem to be doing anything.

*EDIT*
I just installed signed mms3.0.6.22 Apache_VZW_26Sep05 and I still get the same thing - Click New and nothing happens... Good thing I made a backup of the phone before I installed it. Time to go back to previous settings.
 
If you guys use badutahboys tut on how to get wap and mms working you will have mms and wap with no flaws. check out cricket - mafia . com for the tut (remove spaces)
 
Thanks for the recommendation Jammis. I have followed badutahboy's tut over at the mafia. I do have text and wap working (although I can't seem to get to any page I want even with the google hack and opera... still working on that). I will follow the tut again at work tomorrow and make sure I didn't miss anything.
