Please explain: Why do you dislike U2/Bono??

there drummer is the other reason why i watched there videos on mute.. he is the only good looking guy in the band...damn the cams always stuck on bono.. thats why i hate bono the attention taken whore..

i don't like him, or his voice.. seems like every song of theres finRAB its way getting over played.. even if its crap..

but the drummer.. oh the drummer.. he could do better then be in that band :drummer:
 
You people are obnoxious. Respect these mens' music, leave politics out of it. U2 have left their mark on the world, and were instrumental in making an alternative to hair metal and all that garbage. Without U2, there would be none of your precious Radiohead. Hell, alternative music may not have even become popular enough to become mainstream.

The points Urban came up with are very accurate.

The albums all sound the same. He preaches to donate money when he make multi millions a year. Sueing people over a hat? Come on dude. Not to mention he has no voice talent that I can hear. I think they are kind of like the Metallica thing going on. They had their time in the lime light but don't want to leave so all of these homos keep buying their albums keeping them their when a much better band could be right in there.
 
Well if you want to achieve that you're going to have to fill all of your future posts with as many negative references to Bono as possible. I would do it, but I aparantly I'm treading on thin ice as it is.

Well that's the beauty of freedom of speech, I can compare U2 with anything I like. Hell I can even call Bono a balmy, obtuse, smug, Africa-loving bastard, who the Hell is going to stop me?
 
2 fundamental reasons as to why i despise U2.

1 Their music is neither innovative, original nor inspiring. how they have attained such a status in the music industry with the bland crap they've produced since the early 80s baffles me. overrated is an understatement.

2 Bono. need i say more?
