Please could you help me remember the name of a TV adaptation of a classic novel?

I think the book may have been 'Pride and Prejudice' by Jane Austen, and the plot line of the film was along the lines of an obsessed P&P reader who found the doorway to the novel in her bathroom, and she lived out the life of the main character, all the while knowing what was going to happen.
A little like a classic Narnia.
