Playstation 3 Problem - Hong Kong Version?

I'm afraid that there's not much you can do. The best thing to do would be to contact the seller and see if they will allow returns.
 
Hi everyone! Quick question...my sister's PS3 which she bought on ebay is not the UK version as described, Sony confirmed it's the Hong Kong version thus it's not prepared to play many discs. Is there anything I can do for her? I just googled world tv standards and found Hong Kong uses PAL as well as us here in Ireland. So why don't the discs work?
