Playstation 3 help?

Every time i start my ps3 it tells me the hard drive failed and that i need to reformat it.

Then when i do start to reformat it, i never get past 0% of the download bar.

any answers?
 
try going under system settings and scroll down till you see restore PS3 system click on that and see if that works. it should work. but if u played any games all you saved data will be lost.
