Playing the D note on tenor sax but it sounds too high pitch. How to fix it ?

I know the problem is most likely me but I just started playing again after like a year and don't know how to fix it. It sounds too high even when holding the octive key. The fingering is right. Plz help
When playing D and E I get this real squeaky nasty sound instead of that nice smooth sound
