Playing hard to get?? help please!?

okay im nt the type of girl to be all crazy over a guy i like and barley know; now when i get to know a guy and he wants to date me; the first thing i hear from a guy is yu playin hard to get. i don't try to or notice tht im doin it; matter fact idk what that is!! now is that a bad thing or something?? i need help with this.
