Played the PS3 at Best Buy yesterday

The player one controller wouldn't work fully, some buttons did, others didn't, so I switched to the second controller and it worked perfect. Then, I was playing one of the demos, and it just froze for maybe 5 seconds, then the system restarted. Anyone else hear of anything similar? I'm too lazy to search, but it's really looking like I'm going to wait until maybe the middle of next year or maybe even later to buy one.

No, so that people don't hog it for too long. Resetting itself won't help it cool down, since it's still on.

yah, i saw one reset...i figured it was on a timer.

The 360 demos have a setting so you can have it reset after 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes....i forgot the increments of time.
