I don't understand your point of view. You already have the capability to play all those games on your xbox. Why would you think spending money on these parts to play emulators on a wii is a waste, when you turn around and buy VC games?
I'd imagine if someone already has a modded xbox they wouldn't bother at all with buying VC games or hacking a Wii

I rearely play my XBox anymore. Also, I bought 2,000 Wii Points when I bought my Wii. I wanted to spend them on something. If I can buy my favorite NES, SNES, 64 and Turbografx 16 games to have available in the console I play the most of, then I will. Besides, I want to support Nintendo as much as I can.
