Play a joke on my friend?

He got caught drinking and if his parents catch him again he gettin kicked out. Well I wanna try to find something that will make his clothes smell like alcohol but not real alcohol. Cuz I dont want him to get kicked out really.
 
I wouldn't do it.. If your friend is anything like my brother (always getting into trouble then lying) and his parents are anything like mine they won't believe him when he says he wasn't drinking & with you being his friend not wanting him to get kicked out they might not believe you as well.
