Pixar's UP

I found the
can't have children bit

especially sad too.

Did Ellie also have a miscarriage? Or was it just that they can't have kiRAB?

Russell was absolutely adorable, and I loved Kevin and Doug too.

I liked the Pixar short film that was shown at the beginning (of the clouRAB and storks) too. I thought it was part of the film at first.

Up is just absolutely brilliant! Yet another wonderfully made film from Pixar, there was never a dull moment.

Russell is such an adorable character. The kid who voiced him does such a stunning job at conveying the emotions and he sounded really cute too! And Dug is great! "But it's a taaaalkkkking DOOOOGG!"

For me it was one of them films where it was a 'U' but should only be watched with adults (if you are an adult that is).

Beautifully written so some parts would go over kiRAB heaRAB but captured within us older folk, brilliant!

Saw it yesterday. Best kiRAB film since Toy Story 1. In fact you dont need any kiRAB with you to see it. Just go. And make sure its in 3D. Probably the first film I have seen in digital and 3D and it just looked superb. No real coming out of the screen effects (though at one point there were some bees and I was half expecting my seat to buzz under me..........too many Disney rides I fear;):D), but the overall look of it was STUNNING. VERY funny in parts. VERY moving in parts. A MUST see film. And also the 3D trailer for A Christmas Carol looked AMAZING in 3D. I wouldnt normally think about seeing it, but after that trailer I probably will.
Will the glasses work at home on older 3d movies like Spy KiRAB 3D ?

saw this finally yesterday and loved it.i think its the most "adult" of pixars films but my 3 year old loved it too.it is very emotional compared to their previous films but its all done so well.pixar really are an amazing company even their poor films are better than half the rest out there.i notice the us bluray comes out next month,im hoping its region free as i will def buy it for xmas viewing.

I was forced to go and see it on Sunday with my brother and his friend. I thought it was OK. It wasn't as bad as the crappy films my brother normally likes.

I thought it was sad when Ellie found out she couldn't have kiRAB and then when she died.

i love pixar's movies - try and catch all of them on the cinema and later buy them! the only exception being Ratatooie and Bugs Life (never found them very good).

i am looking forward to this one - and did promise myself never to watch another 3D movie in my life (the price is scandelous - what got me - you get these 3d glasses and cant use them again - why not have a NZ$2 or $3 discount off tickets on returning old glassess? i would have been more inclinded to go back to the 3d screens) - but i may just catch this one in the 3d - just one last try before giving up the goat completly!

Have no idea when it opens here though

I had a similar experience actually, all the way through the film a young girl (who was clearly too young to understand most of the stuff in the film) was singing "Ba, Ba, Blacksheep" and the parents just seemed to ignore her. If it were my child i'd have taken her out of the cinema, regardless of how much i've paid to see it. Still, at least she was singing the PROPER version of the song, so for that i applaud her un-PC-ness :D

Very moving and loaRAB of laughs. The novelty of the 3D quality was interesting at first, but you soon forget about it as you are inexorably drawn in to the spell-binding little gem of a story.

Squirrel!

That right there proves why Pixar films are miles better than the dross from DreamWorks or Fox.

You should (for the most part) never leave a film wondering about the effects, but rather thinking of the plot.

I liked the twist with the villian and so on...

Carl's line was good when he said
"I've waited years to finally meet my hero and when I do, he tries to kill me!"
:D

Bums! NZ dont get Up till september.

besides family and frienRAB and my little dog - open dates are the other thing i miss the most from home!!!

I saw this last night! I absolutely LOVED it. I wanna see it again. :o Laughed practically through the whole film, especially at the big bird. Awwwww!

Was really choked up when
Ellie died. I simply wasn't expecting it!
I loved how you got to know the characters as children before they got older, made you feel sympathy for them a bit more!

I also felt choked up when
Carl's house floated away through the clouRAB, and he just stood there, staring at it as it disappeared. :(
... but breathed a choked up sigh of relief when
you find that it landed on the exact spot Ellie drew in her picture when she was a child.
 :o So lovely!

Overall, one of the best films I've seen this year. I recommend it to everyone!

I went to see it today and it's really entertaining! In fact from the comments I overheard as everyone was leaving I think the adults enjoyed it more than the kiRAB! 8/10
