Ok well at my school we have final exams...but we have this system where you can't have three excused, one unexcused, any detensions, three tardys, or failing a class, or you have to take the final exams. well this one day my sister had a doctor appointment so I had no way to get to school until they got home, which wasn't until 9:20am, when school started at 8:00am, so I'm a losy hour and twenty minutes late and now I find out I have to take finals even though my mom wrote a note. So now I have to spend two days of my fucking school break sitting at school taking stupid long ass tests..sorry I'm just not happy about this because it is bullshit. :motz: :furious: :madder:

I know how you feel. In my college Spanish class first semester we would be excused from the final if we didn't miss any classes. I accidentally slept through one class and had to take the final. Grrr. Oh well. Just do your best and kick life's ass for that.
 
That sucks. AT my school everybody but seniors take final no matter what. The only time you do as a senior is if you GPA drops enough. It's Bullshit. If my GPA dropped, why have me take a test where yo uknow that i will not be motivated for and will fail. Thereofr, my GPA drops more? Fuck that
 
Rule are rules ... that system is in place to reward the students who had the good attendence, and were not late. No one is really concerned about the circumstances surrounding your lateness. The point is that you did'nt meet the standard, so you don't get the reward.
