Jet is right, he pissed it away, Nickey Hayden looked a lot better though. Took 4th. You could tell he was still be too tentative with his on throttle exiting corners. More aggression on the gas will lead him to better results, just my 2c.

Spies did a really good job. 2 away from a podium finish on a non-factory ride. Not too shabby. And if only Nicky pulled the trigger a little faster, be could have maintained 3rd.

Agreed, but he seems to be learning pretty quickly, and hopefully we will see an even better result next time.

Of course, I hope he is consistent also, as he didn't win many races, but he sure won the championship away from Rossi a few years back.
