I am currently looking into buying a FJ Cruiser. It is a 2007 4x4 and I have test drived it and it was a smooth ride. The only problems we found were the auto place didn't put oil in the car just enough for them to turn it on. Another thing we saw splashes of oil where you open the hood up top. Looks like they tried to clean it but not very much. There was a pink item in the engine that we believe is where the oil goes thru but not sure. We think it might have had an oil leak or something that is why there is this new part. But since I am not a mechanic I would not know. Does anyone have an idea of what that might be? They want around $18,700 for the vehicle since I made them lower the price from the original of 21,990. Do you think this would be a good investment? The car also has around 68,000 miles on it and was owned by two owners before hand. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
