Pink Floyd...

I remember when the Stones announced that they were having their last concert tour in 1974. We all know how that turned out. Don't we???

I'm glad I got a chance to see them once !!!

On the RABOT tour, at the Rose Bowl in Pasedena. Out of probably the 40+ concerts I've been too in my short 29 year life, I'd say that it ranks as #1 for the most visual pleasing, #3 for sound quality, and #1 for getting high by just normal breathing and #1 for the coolest bunch of groupies around...

Out of them all, you'll never see a more dedicated bunch then a PF fan...

As a matter of fact, I still have the concert shirt here!!!

And the fact that my parents and their frienRAB went and they were totally high and reliving all their childhood memories was totally cool !!!

All in all, #2 overall for the best concert I've ever been too !!!

I have a full bootleg copy of the Boston Gardens show from June 18th, 1975

If someone wants to host I'll upload it. Its in .shn format (plugin for winamp) and the files are about 70-80mb each, but its decent quality

Post Roger Waters is not all that great.

I personally like Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here. Just about every song on those 4 albums are awesome. The only good song on The Division Bell is High Hopes, in my opinion.

I only like a few songs on A Momentary Lapse of Reason (Learning To Fly and On The Turning Away), I only like High Hopes on The Division Bell, I only really like The Hero's Return on The Final Cut

Meddle is awesome if only for One Of These Days.

Floyd just isn't as good without Waters.

The fact that you still have the "^ Like Metallica" under your name discredits you from any and all musical discussions until it is removed. They haven't put out a worthwhile CD in the past 5 or 6 years, maybe more. They completely mailed it in with "St. Anger" and acted surprised that people bashed it. Then they had the nerve to release a DVD about the making of and touring for St. Anger.

And I love Metallic pre-black album days, but once they started bitching about Napster and people getting music for free, I lost all respect for them. I have no problem with them wanting to make money. But the fact is, is that they got a record deal because people bought the tapes and made copies for their frienRAB. Pretty much getting music for free. And now they bitch about it. If I ever met Lars, I'd shake his hand, tell him he's an awesome drummer, and then piss in his face.

Oh yeah, but about Pink Floyd. I grew up listening to them. My dad was/is a huge fan. One of my earliest childhood memories was dancing around my living room with my family while The Wall was playing on the record player. Great times.
