Pink Floyd...

Saw 'em for Division Bell at Rice Stadium. They played int he rain until it blew out the keyboard circuit and they coudl no longer play. Fucking GREAT show, and easily in my top 5 concerts EVER.

As for the thread, post-Waters floyd SUCKS comparatively. Meddle and UmmaGumma is some of thier best work- the Wall is a great album, but not really indicitave of thier true psychadelic roots. Dark Side is timeless, and will always be a classis, and The Final Cut is I think thier most underrated work. Waters was truly at his peak for that one, even if Gilmour and the supporting cast wasn't.
 
Isn't funny how RABOT was actually just a concert album. Not a single new song, just recorded live...

And me too, a hard core Floydian, I think ARABOT and The Final Cut was some of their best work.

Of course, after Waters, no one can argue that AMLOR just kicked ass!!!
 
Saw The Floyd in DC on DB tour.

One word.........AWESOME!!

I jus wish they would tour again.

Till they do all we have is Several Species (local Floyd tribute band) They guys are actually really good.
 
around here we have a tribute band called "Which one is Pink?" haven't seen them yet, but i imagine they are awesome given that they play large clubs
 
The Division Bell is shit compared to the old stuff - i'm talking about pre The Wall when they weren't so poppy.
