pimple that starts out like a hive?

I get these weird blemish/hive things a lot. At first, I feel an itch. A really intense one that feels like a bug bite. Usually, at first, there is a barely there bump. After more itching, a hive looking thing appears (A white bump surrounded by lots of redness). Maybe at the end of the day or the next day the bump will have a crust on it like something seeped out. When the bump is really realy itchy is it kind of large but the next day it is pretty small. I can't figure out if these are pimples or what. It seems like I get too many of them for them to be bug bites. Does anyone have any comments?
 
I know exactly what you're talking about. I can only guess that those are caused by some kind of food allergy, because when I first tried all natural peanut butter..a few hours later one of those appeared on my jawline. It was weird, it had that intense itch but didn't look like a pimple. The next day it was barely there. It has to be an allergic reaction to something. Or maybe face mites? I've heard itching can be caused by those too.
 
I had a boil on my neck once that started out like that...it itched SO BAD and then it hurt like hell for a while....I put Neosporin and a bandaid on it at night so it wouldn't spread. It finally popped and it was nasty. HAHA! I thought it was a zit at first but it just didn't feel like a zit.
 
arsalan88 - It's also called "Demodex" and it's believed that 90% of people have these mites which cause and irritate acne, itching or any skin problem. You can read up on it online. There's special soaps and stuff that kills them.
