Pilot Pure Weights are in

Got them today and threw them on a postal scale that took into consideration the weight of the box, etc.
Anyways this is legit weights for a 120/70 tire and 190/55 rear
Front: 8.136 lbs
Rear: 12.114 lbs

Sounds like michellin might be a little full of chit on the 2lbs lighter crap however, I think the front might be nearly 1lb and rear a few ounces but not 2lbs.

FYI- 10 Spoke S forged wheels
Front: 7.04
Rear: 7.144

After I remove the std rims, I'll weigh those and the 'used' pirelli tires for comparison and post my results. Might be a week or two.

I'd really like to see some photos.

I'm kind of on the fence between the Pilot Pure and the Power One as my next set.

I like the OEM Pirelli's but find that they take too long to warm up.

i have them on my 1198 and like them. i didn't measure them but they sure felt lighter on the arm. so far i like how they handle in turns, down the freeway and stopping.

for now, they are not necessarily better than the 2cts for my type of riding. that i will only really know in a few 1,000 miles.

edit added some pics.

I'm too impatient and working from home today. I have < 20% left on current tires so at most it is costing me $50 to mount them today...oh well. I'lll blow the $50 just to see the wheels and tires mounted on the bike. This will give me 1 week of riding before the 30mm triples get here.

Update, dealer is saying, I have to get there first thing Saturday morning or no tire mounting; first come first serve BS.
I mean it is a 20min job and they can't squeeze me in? I hate the dealers here.
I can drop them off for 3 days but then my bike is up on stands for too many days and out in the open. I guess I could do it in my pops garage but that is a pain as well.
