Pill swallowing problem.....

For the past few days every single time I take my meds I feel like they are stuck in my throat. Like they won't go down. After a while the sensation goes away but comes right back when I take my pills again. Sometimes I even feel like there is something in my throat when I just swallow. Today my gland below right jaw line started hurting....I wake up every morning with clogged nose and junk in my throat but that is nothing new...post nasal drip I suppose. What the heck is going on? It is getting to the point I don't even want to take my meds because of this feeling. I know I have to but I begin to dread it.

Have you tried cutting your pills to make swallolwing a bit easier.
Also have you tried the NettiPot for clogged nasal and junk in your throat ?
i would not be without my Nettipot to clear nasal, does wonders.

Wondering if some infection is beginning. Warm salt water gargle may help too. Hope all clears up for you.

Drink something hot to relax the throat muscles. Then take meds with warm water.

Be sure and put water in mouth before putting a pill in, gulp the pill down and have less chance of it sticking to throat.

Check with your pharmacist to see if you can crush the meds. It sounds like you are getting a little sick and this will help ease the discomfort.
