Piggybacking?

Lmfao omg. If you are in a service area where t-mo does not have service but att does then being gsm also you have reception because of their service piggybacking. ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

So why can't T-Mobileanswer my questions about where their network towers are? I knew they piggybacked GSM in the past but now I'm wondering if they never stopped.

You could ask TMO this question directly justyn, but you know...you may never get a straight answer. I don't think any carrier is really obligated to tell you the answer to this as long as they are providing you adequate service that meets your needs and your issues are handled in a timely manner.

Actually from what I have read recently T-Mobile is buying out suncom and will they will be merging/piggybacking towers. http://www.infoworld.com/article/07/09/17/T-Mobile-buys-wireless-operator-SunCom_1.html

T-mobile has roaming agreements with ATT. It's for roaming only, and you do not get charged for it.

why would you care, you are not gettin gcharged and you are getting the best signal. Unless you are trying to get out of your contract this is a non-issue
