'Piers Morgan's life stories' Tonight- BARBARA WINDSOR.

I completely disagree with that - and you must have missed my posts regarding meeting Barbara.

I have mentioned several times on RAB how I met Barbara when I was a young teenager and she was very kind to me, going out of her way to help me and she was absolutely delightful and friendly.

reading comments on an internet forum about someone's expierence with meeting BW is not a fact its an opinion.

agreed.

I liked the interview & what she said about her EE co-stars. It was nice to see all those old clips aswell:)

I'd have watched more than 5 minutes if it wasn't for Piers Morgan.
He's really not that good an interviewer, to be honest.
Certainly wouldn't get anything out of an interviewee that anyone else couldn't get.
Interview jumped from one point to another, so I had to give it up.

Similarly to his Ronnie Corbett interview, couldn't take that for long and I've got a lot of time for Ronnie.

I see they left out her 5 abortions. Of course this show was not going to paint her in a bad light otherwise she wouldn't have done it. Like Cilla Black, who was given the sob story treatment on Piers Morgan last year, Babs is horrible off camera, you only need to read the horrible celebs thread in the showbiz section to read peoples personal experiences with her.

But just seems like double standarRAB, if Katie Price admitted to sleeping with a list of men like Babs did last night she would be booed of stage and vilified on here, but because it's dear old Babs she's a well loved national treasure.

I'm not sure about that - you get some very mixed reports re. Babs whereas Cilla is universally vilified.

I always remember a few years ago when a Sunday newspaper did an experiment in which a journalist wrote a very authentic looking letter to various celebrities.

The basic gist of the letter was that he was writing on behalf of his aged mother who was celebrating a big birthday soon, and asking whichever celebrity he was writing to to send their birthday wishes. Most just sent back signed photos, a few didn't reply, a few sent brief messages. Babs was the only one who sent back a proper, long handwritten letter.

As for the 5 terminations, I thought it was very ironic when she visited Bristol a few weeks ago (where she's in panto this year) to open a new baby care unit at the local hospital.
