Piers Morgan and his absolute OBSESSION with money.....

Falling Upward

Wouldn't it be easier if ITV just renamed all his documentaries this?

He literally cannot go for a whole sentance without mentioning money and how much the interviewee has and how he spends it.

His recent documentaries about Dubai,Shanghai, Beverley HIlls, Marbella etc were just thinly veiled excuses for him to go and meet millionaires who we all then conclude are a bit weird. That seems to be the depths of his journalism - never known anyone who is constantly so "aghast" at what people spend money on which is all a bit rich coming form him really who must have joined the jet-set with his bizrre status as some sort of judge of talent

Basically - he annoys me.

Yes and i would like him to ask the odd question about it but not EVERY bloody question "how much do your staff cost you?", "how many cars have you got?", "how much is this house woth now?" "how much do you make on an average month?"

He's so vulgar tabloid it's untrue.

Might be a clue in what you've just said. Can you not just make the choice to not watch his documentaries? Wouldn't that be easier than watching them and indulging in some sort of self torture? No one is forcing you to watch his shows I hope. If he makes you that mad and annoys you that much, opt to not watch his show.

I actually quite like seeing how rich people live and what they spend their money on. Are we not allowed to enjoy a little bit of voyeurism every once in a while?

I wouldn't go that far. Just that he choke himself to the point of being unable to talk ever again...

The man is a vile excuse for a human being. He'd stamp over anyone to get higher up the ladder and how he's so popular in the US I'll never know.

No, cos i take a keen interest in all aspects of media and wonder why some things are more popular than others. For example i will never understand how anyone gets any enjoyment from watching Eastenders or Jeremy Kyle as they depress me for hours if i catch a few minutes.

I don't mind seeing how some rich people live either, but EVERY question? I don't need that. He's such a berk, he's so confident in his own mind that he is asking the "questions Britian wants to know" that he doesn't once stop to think maybe the whole GBP are sick to death of money after recent events!! Let alone these loaded rich fatcats that he is constantly sucking up to. It really is trashy tv. I usually only watch cos i like finding out stuff about cities i may not know but all Piers will ever let me know is how expensive the average house is.

As for the old "just turning off" argument, i'll be kind as i can but please do give it a rest over that - this is a forum!!?? People watch things they like and dislike and comment?? I could just write "if you don't like my thread don't comment!" :p

I just hope he doesn't ask Alan Sugar anything daft about money tonight.
like 'have you ever done anything illegal to make money?'
I hope he doesn't ask that.

Is that not a little too strong?... i can't stand either of those programmes, but to be depressed for hours after catching a few minutes!.......

Different people like different things. Perhaps you need to step back and turn the TV off every once in a while if it's having this effect on your mood?
