Alright so i flashed a verizon v3c, over to cricket (monster pack) so its a completely stock cricket phone basically.

problem. picture messaging isn't working. so im not sure if thats because it was once a verizon, or maybe my phone settings aren't set up right.

anyway someone could help me with this that has maybe had this problem before, or someone who is an expert whizkid about this kind of stuff? haha

thanks

Short answer is your pics will prb never work.
When most people say flashed they really mean unlocked and maybe a random Cricket PRL loaded in.
Your picture messaging will have issues. What market/city are you in?

He flashed the phone himself with a Cricket monster file, so yes, it really is flashed.

As for PIX messaging and web, you need a real Cricket V3c user to copy a bunch of seems for comparison.

TomCarr, data is not difficult to fix if you know where to look. Before I sold my backup E815 I had 3 phones on Verizon all running different carrier's software and all with Web/MMS/Get It Now (The apps, tones, and pics software store) working.

lol thanks for that one jlbrightbill, yeah it was a monster file, completely stock motorola v3c firmware, just not the right seem edits or wap settings/mms settings done through pst i guess.

i've tried a lot of things and still no luck. and i can't get on the net either lol, and i signed up for cricket clicks.

thanks again guys

Sorry guys but that Monster File does not work for everyone and it does not make it a hanRABet a "stock" Cricket phone. Just so you guys know software on Cricket varies from region to region. If this is a hobby then by all means spend countless hours trying to make it work. If you need a phone that works just buy one that does what you need it to do from the get-go.

lol yeah if i didn't want to waste time or anything i would buy a 400 dollar phone.

but i actually kind of enjoy messing with this kind of stuff, it gets me by in the day when im bored, although i havent messed with it since i activated my phone with cricket.

but please, if you can by any chance find someone who has a hanRABet here in Vancouver Washington, that has a cricket v3c, copy and paste the seems for these things, i would appreciate that.

thank you guys for all the feedback. these forums rock lol

yes its activated, i went and got it turned on at a cricket store the other day and when i did that *228 started working and i got a successful activation.

still doesn't work tho :-(

Take my word for it.
Go to your inbox. Go to settings, MMS settings. Go to server. If we used the same flash file, there shoudl be TWO servers there. Both are labeled "cricKet." Select the bottom one. MMS now works.

MMS = multi media messaging, aka pictuer smessaging.. etc.

Works for me. Hope it works for you. ID ont know why people ahve problems with MMS on v3c's, It always works for me. I just flash it, reload PRL 1039 and then set the server to the bottom cricKet.

The settings might be there and correct, but in my experience MMS on MOTO's can be sluggish. I had to reset the browser several times to get it to work, but it eventually did with NO settings changes.

The only way to know you are set-up correctly for sure is to use Motorola's PST and a SEEM editor.

I wish I could remeraber off-hand how to enter the RAZR's service programming menu, but search the forums--it should be easy enough to find--or some kind soul here can tell you how. ;)

Anyway, in the service programming menu, there is an option to reset the browser. Do that and restart the phone.

Like I said--the only way to know for sure is to use the tools I listed above.

Even if I flash with cricket monster what I do is after flashing i always upload the brew settings current for cricket. I think this is where you need to start. use pst to read brew from phone confirm setting. This will get ur mms to work same settings as the wap or cricket clicks!
