PIC: When friends drop in unexpectedly

And *always* wanting a feed, I just whipped up some mini pizzas. Had some
shitake mushrooms that I had soaked and was going to use in a stir fry, but
used them on these, as welll as sliced caperberries, a bit of hot scicilian
salami, some leftover blue brie, stuffed green olives sliced, and some
kalamata... with a tomato sauce that I was going to use in a gnocci dish for
the base. The melted cheese was a mix of sharp cheddar, and a smoked cheese.

Needless to say, they all wanted seconds!!

I wish!!

But no...... I just topped up my G&T and watched them enjoy themselves....
and kept busy in the kitchen making more.

Back in for another op in about a month, and hopefully after the current
course of treatment I'm on, and the next op, I'll be able to enjoy food
again, albeit in limited quantities.

'Twas :-)

I couldn't be bothered to dig thru the freezer for some of the (same
brand) pizza bases, or alternatively, make my own dough.

They took about 10 mins to get the first lot all together and oven ready,
5 mins to cook, and when they came out the next lot went straight in.

Within 25mins everyone was fed, and we could get down to the serious
business of enjoying G&T's and Tom Collins'... and waffling shit :-)

They are "Temporarily out of stock". :-( I was gonna buy one, maybe 2
