pic sending problems.. help?

Hey ive had my phone since december ( audiovox cdm 8900 ).. i am having trouble sending pics. It used to work fine, but now, i cannot send random pics. Also when i recieve a pic message, the pic will not appear, instead i will see a blank space in place of the picture. I dont know if this is a problem with the phone or if im doing something wrong. I called for phone support but they were no help, they said they had no i dea what was wrong. can anyone help me?
 
some phone only support certian file extensions .jpg, .gif, .bmp etc. and won't show the pics with file ext. they don't understand or reconize also as far as sending if you loose your signal for even a second pics, text, anythhing will fail to send that might be the problem
