Okay. so theres this pipe and the middle has a smaller diameter than the rest of the pipe, which has a diameter of 2.5cm, and there are two smaller pipes coming out of the top of the pipe perpendicular to the water flow. One is over the part of the pipe with the 2.5cm diameter (the water level is at 10cm) and one is over the smaller diameter (the water level is at 5cm). The rate of flow is 1.8*10^-4 meters cubed per second. What is the diameter of the middle(the smaller section).
I feel like you use the equations Av=Av and P1+.5pv^2=P2+.5pv^2 but i can't get it to work...
