You travel to a planet that has twice the mass compared with Earth:
a) you get taller, your mass halves and your weight doubles
b) your weight doubles and your mass is unchanged
c) your mass doubles and your weight stays the same
d) your mass stays the same, your weight doubles and you get taller

it's a multiple choice question nd i have no idea what the answer is cud someone help me out...nd explain why u think whatever you think the answer is

the correct one you should pick out of these MCQs is (b)

But (b) also is not completely correct. your weight will double if the gravitational field intensity is doubled.
Gravitational field intensity will be doubled when the mass of the planet is doubled without change of radius of the planet. In the question this detail is not given.

But since this is a MCQ you can choose (b) as the answer

ya B is correct coz gravity cant change ur mass as weight=mg m cant change but g doubles height i think has no relation with gravity until ur living there frm ur birth ................................. if u hav taken birth there then ur height must be small according to biology (imagination)
