I am having a little trouble understanding real-life applications of these energy transformations. Here's an example question for my test:
As Michael Phelps swims with a constant speed, what energy transformation takes place?
Echem-->Ethermal
Echem-->kinetic
Kinetic--->Echem
Kinetic-->Ug
Ug-->Kinetic
I think it is either Ech-->Eth or Ech--->K, but I am not sure. Also is there an explaination so that I could answer any types of these questions?Another example would be energy transformation when running at constant speed.
