Question-(unit: Projectile Motion)
At the 2004 Olympic games in Athens, Dwight Phillips won the gold medal in men's long jump with a jump of 8.59m. If the angle of his jump was 23 degrees, what was his takeoff speed?
Answer:10.8m/s
How do you solve the problem?
 
Do you realize how few people understand Physics? Much less have even taken a Physics class in their entire life. I have two college degrees, and I've never taken a Physics class. Good luck on finding someone to answer the question.
