If two objects of opposite charge come into contact, say one is initally 4nC and the other is -6nC, what is their end charge? I know that charge is conserved and that it would be of equal magnitude and opposite sign.... Does that mean the object that was initally 4nC would have a final charge of -4nC and the second object would have a final carge of 6nC?
