Ok, my virtual scientists I need your help for this experiment.
a. Glass box #1 is sitting in the sun. A thermometer is placed to take the temperature of the inside of the box.
b. Glass box #2 is also sitting in the sun with a penny in the center. A magnifying glass is placed above the box and at an angle consistent with the sun. The magnifying glasses concentration of photons is on the penny. The temp of box #2 is also recorderd.
Question do the two boxes have the same temperature? Why or why not?
