I have learned a lot in my life, mostly the things that I thought were important, as I tend to not focus on things unless I see a benefit in them.
But, recently I have become very intrigued with learning the ins and outs of how the world works around me. Physics is obviously the most complex academic subject in that it involves things that most people shake their heads too.
I did some reading on the internet, however, I am finding things are A LOT more complex than I thought. I just want to know how electricity, television, telephone, internet, computer and all these mind-boggling inventions came to fruition.
If anyone knows any good books for beginners (I took one Physics-Energy course in college, so I know a little), that can pretty much walk me through the basics of physics, it's history, and how we have reached this "crazy" point in time today.
