hi i dont know the answers to these questions and i couldnt find them in m text book can you please help:

1) what must happen for a substance to change from liquid to solid , or from gas to liquid?

2)name 2 ways in which liquid can change state to become a gas ?

3)what happens to the temperature when liquid starts to evaporate?

4) how does the idea of molecules help to explain cooling by evaporation?

5) what are the best conditions for drying clothes on a clothes-line?

heat from the object is absorbed by the liquid on it, the transfer of the heat energy from the object to the liquid cools the object. the energy absorbed by the liquid causes it to evaporate, because the molecules are moving faster they create larger distances between eachother changing the phase from liquid to gas.

hot and dry air.
