Here are 2 questions I need help with
Electricity costs 10p per kilowatt-hour. In one week, the iron uses electricity for a total of 90 minutes
Calculate the cost of this electricity, if it helps u the power of the iron is 1.2kw.
Now I am sure its £0.15 but i put that and it says the answer is £0.18 I really dont see how it is that! surely its
0.10 x 1.5 = 0.15
THEN
cost of draught excluders is £15 and money saved per year is £45 so I did some working and thought it was 3 months but then the answer sheet said its 4 months I really don't understand how it is 4 months?
